So my 81 3.8 has been running fine. let it sit for a week went to drive it today, start up took a bit longer but started up, went into reverse and it died half way down the drive way. thinking i was a bit low on gas i rolled it to a level surface and tried again, it only cranks and cranks. I popped off the air cleaner and didnt smell/see any gas inside from the carb. Im thinking my fuel pump went out? any input would help! thanks!

could have went out, or if you have inline filter could be dirty,remove your fuel lines crank the engine over make sure you put the lines in a bottle to avoid gas on the engine. if you get gas from the pump check the filter.
