I shop evilbay a lot for the factory manuals for all the old shtuff I have, and some I don't have. LOL My wife LOVES that. LOL
I agree that the Haynes manuals are too generic. I bought one of those for a minivan we had. Went into zero detail on what I thought was a pretty common home repair issue with the wiper system. No details at all. I e-mailed Haynes with my opinion on their manuals and the lack of detail. I kept it cordial. They did respond. It said in part that their manuals were not for professionals and were geared more towards a weekender with very limited mechanical knowledge. They did offer to refund my purchase price if I returned the manual to them, not the store. I did and they did. I think I have a couple others that came in boxes from garage sales and auctions. Collecting dust mostly.
