Vavle covers painted in a Chrysler diamond black which the car will be painted in as well.

looks good wondering why the paint in the intake never seen them painted

I did because I liked how it looks on the old buicks so I thought id pay a Lil homage even though im running an olds. It was also torqued and sealed properly so I didn't want to remove it or spend three days masking it off. When its in the car I think it will flow better this way rather than having one spot of silver being the intake while everything else is either gloss black, gloss red and chrome/polished alum.

I got the Jeg's exhaust kit, and i must say if you are on a budget that is the way to go. Fits nice, and comes with everything. The only thing I'm going to do to mine is cut it off behind the rear wheels and make a new hanger, and put on some flomy's.
How do they sound now? A buddy of mine has the summit kit on his sbc nova and its loud mean and awesome lol. I have the 80. Series flowmaster on my Camaro and its a Lil more tamed compared to the 40 series.
They sound decent. Really throaty, but at idle muffled. No droning very little resonance in the cabin. So I guess they are alright mufflers.

I was doing some mock up work and had issues with the mini starter and the hedman hedders also with the headers and the oil filter adapter awwwwwww. So I've been beating the living hell outta one tube I've already 're clocked the starter. Since the oil filter adapter won't fit I guess I'm not using the oil cooler because I'm not buying a relocation kit. The more work I do the more I get angry sometimes lol. Oh well that's the life right?

So I had to take a much needed break from this build about three weeks to be exact lol. During that time I did some thinking and reflecting, coming up with yet another and THE ABSOLUTE FINAL MASTER PLAN!!! It starts and end with a Buick 350/TH350 combo. Finally something that makes perfect sense. So I picked up the new to me combo for $375 smasharoons. I got it home, opened it up and what do I find???? A freshened up motor is what, 30 overbored sealed power low comp pistons, clean under the valley pan. There was some carbon build up in the heads and cylinder walls but thats nothing that wont clean up. Has to have very low miles on the rebuild I can clearly see the cross hash marks. Oh the th350 was also rebuilt so the combo was probably redone in 2009. I bought from a guy thats putting a 454 bbc into the 72 Skylark that the combo is from. I guess the owner wanted more power and didnt want to build a 455 Buick. I got a g force crossmember today for 170 new from a guy on cl that ended up using a th400 in his 83 Regal. THIS MUST BE MY LUCKY MONTH 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
