Hi everyone,

I am new to the forum, I just purchased a 1983 Buick Regal limited v6 3.8L 2bbl carb. I am having some minor running issues and I was wondering if anyone had similar issues in the past. The car seems to pop/misfire at idle it can be heard through the exhaust. I took a video of the exhaust popping but its kinda bad. Here is the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ro_un4gVxvM The car throws a check engine light if I am stopped idling at a light for a while and then once I start driving for a little again it turns off. I changed the distributor cap, rotor, plugs, and wires and there has been no change in how it runs.

So, i jumped the obd port, and read the flashes. The result from my online research is: 12 (normal operation), 13 (O2 sensor circuit), 21(TPS circuit, i think?), 23 (intake air temperature, i think?), 44 (O2 sensor lean exhaust), 45 (O2 sensor rich exhaust).

I changed the O2 sensor and the car still has the same issue.

The car is stock with the exception of the cat and air pump being removed. If anyone has some detail on what I can remove without screwing up the computer stuff that would also help alot.

Thanks

Here is a pic of the car:
