Got a lil more done today fam. Dry sanded both wells up to 400 grit. Then wet with 400, 500 wet, 600 wet, 800 wet, 1000 wet, 1500 wet and finished with 2000 wet. Went back over it again from 600 with really soapy water from my handy spray bottle. Washed em down and the water just layed and flowed off the surface. Imma see what they look like in the morn out in the sun. I should be sprayin em up this week. Its been pretty windy tho so I might hold off...

400 wet

500 wet...

600 soapy wet...

1500 soapy wet...

2000 grit wet...

Couple of spots I gotta hit with some filler primer. I sanded the primer out. Quick fix....I'll see what they look like in the morn in the sun. If its too windy bruh, I'll hafta wait on spraying em. Its been pretty bad out here all weekend. I just washed/waxed the El and you cant tell now. Thats bad :shock:

Ok fam... Now that I have the wells out in the sun I can see some spots I gotta hit again. Believe me...You would laugh and say man just spray it. Lol! But this set is to see if I am improving on what ive learned from the SS set. Hittin the Zone up for some more "filler primer" and then go over everything with 400 and shoot 2 more light coats and let dry. Then I can wet sand from 600 on up and spray the paint...Now that its warming up, I'll do yours with high temp clear and hand polish the hell out of em. Should work out sweet...

Im telling you bruh..I'll have this stuff down in no time. Imma practice on the SS some more. Start getting my sanding supplies and other stuff together and see what it dew...I got a lot of respect for those that do this day in day out man. You really have to love it.

Man Im tellin ya. I want to learn how to paint and get it as smooth and creamy as your El is. This is all from Rustolium paint cans but i figure if I can master that, I can really get down with a gun. Its fun. And I love the reaction I get when I tell peeps I sprayed it out of an aeresol can. LOL! I'm really trying to step it up a little with Mel's. I hope he likes em when Im done....

Yessir!!! Lookin hot!! Im all over the wells. The primer is nice and dry. Not long now. Man thats plenty of time to make it to the Vegas run. Brown Sug 2.0's bay is gonna make the SS look like boo boo!! Its not about paint and wheels for me.
