Ok, I know I haven't posted any updates in a while. Been busy traveling, taking care of some home improvement projects, and just got a promotion at work. My plan was to have her running by the end of March. Today is April 1st and I'm a day late but I have to give thanks to my Big OLD *ss bro elcoWarren for coming down and giving me a hand/keeping me motivated. Also would like to thank my big bro Skip foose for walking me through the process over the phone. BROWN SUGAR 2.0 is officially running!! I almost gave up on her after getting a piece of a Philip screwdriver stuck in the #1 cylinder (i'm not going to even say how that happened) 😳 But with warrens motivation we pulled the engine apart (carb, intake, distributor, and driver side head) resealed/re-timed everything and got it fired up. Engine sounds great! I just wish i could run it with open headers.

Interior is coming together as well, I picked up some custom SEM interior dye from "Space Age Paints" in Mesa AZ. I got 85% of my fatmat installed, B&M Quicksilver shifter is installed, center console installed, floor shift steering column installed (Big thanks to Jose in New Mexico), New steering wheel installed, and a triple gauge pod pillar that the Big Homie elco Warren blessed me with this trip!

I'll be taking some pics and vids tomorrow in the daylight and will post them up as soon as I get a chance.

Warren also gave me his factory brakes off of his SS to put on my elco temporarily until I finish piecing together the rest of my big brake upgrade. The only thing I need to do to actually drive the car is hook up a drive shaft, shifter linkage, bleed the brakes, and get my exhaust done!

Thanks again fellas! I am still working on the vid but here are a few pictures that I snapped of the interior, Seats and door panels will be getting dropped off real soon 8) I'll also finish up the fatmat installation and start running the wires for the audio equipment this week....
