Thanks Dave! This headliner is going to be the death of me hahaha I can't find the right shade of brown material to cover it. That's what's holding up most of the interior install... Working on plan B right now 8)

I have a few ideas for your headliner involving an insert that would match your would grain and not be over the top. ill see if i can draw it up, it would also break the color up a little and take the pressure of matching it perfectly, you have to remember you have several shades of brown/tan etc with the woodgrain!

I'm open to ideas

Lol Thanks big bro.... It's ok for what it is I'm trying to focus on the necessities to get her on the road but I keep getting side tracked. I have this weekend off so I'll be wrenchin on her and tightening up some loose ends


After I get the Maro on the road I'll be looking for a frame to build up for the el... Leaning towards a protouring build with a fuel injected LS engine, all umi or Detroit speed suspension, overdrive trans, and a currie rear end.

With these wheels

The drive train in the el will get beefed up and put into the nova

no lotto necessary brotha, just hard work and determination, but some of us dont want frame offs, i dont even want the el in the garage at all! but its the sons car so gotta push forward...

go a couple of cool tools coming too Mel, so maybe I can get on that rear piece you want after i finish the kick panel

Lol I honestly didn't have plans on doing as much as I have done to my el it was suppose to be a simple build that I wanted to paint myself.... Kinda hard to do when the crew is going so hard on there projects. And when u got guys like warren and skip giving you crazy ideas that you just "gotta have/incorporate"
