1985 Cutlass Supreme - I Have Question And Need Your Answers

Any ideas of what you would do for a 1985 Cutlass Supreme share here . I need some input . I'm lookiing to make it fast but not drag racing fast . Thanks Guys

If you can find a Buick 350, it is supposedly a direct swap. All your accesories, mounts etc swap over. You may need a new rad, cheap new aluminum/plastic one should do. A BOP TH350 is a direct swap, if you have a TH200C in there. It won't last with more torque behind it.

I would go with a 4.3 vortex to save gas in it for one. Or a 5.3ls if you still want av8 . Drop it like two inches maybe three in the rear. Put some nice 18 inch wheels on it with some fat t*ts in the back. Tint all the windows like 5%.

X2.......he can just find a stock gbody v8 radiator & shroud also.

I would say go with the Buick 350, it is a fairly straight forward swap. For the transmission either a TH350c or a 200r4 again relatively simple (the TH350c more-so). Swap the rear gears (or the whole read end) for a 3.08 if you go with the TH350C or 3.42 or 3.73 with the 200r4. Don't forget to make it a posi. Finally throw in some suspension, steering, and brake mods.

Hey , just found out more information about my car. Actually instead of having a 200r4 transmission I have a turbo350 automatic trans..... this came in the car when i bought it. this car has a V6 engine....is that good or bad.....
