Thanx Evan85 I was sure that was a good thing, so that want be to much on my v6 motor then huh? . also i noticed my catalytic converter was smoking after i replaced it with a new one, also note that i did not remove the old muffler . Do u think that the old muffler would be clogged. Im thinking about cutting the muffler off today ......what do u say ?

no, the 350 trans isn't gonna hurt your v6. it could just be burning the new oils off if you just installed the converter. I personally dont run converters, they stink and rob power. lol. That v6 would sound like crap w/o a muffler IMO, I'd replace the old muffler with a cherry bomb turbo muffler from auto zone, they are like $20 and have just the right amount of rumble for those v6's.


You could just run one of these mufflers w/o a converter if you wish, not sure if your state enforces that sort of thing.

thanks evan and NC does not allow the no converter thingy lol. but i will go and pick one of those cherry bomb turmo mufflers today ! 🙂 thanks. If you have more tips for my car just let me know ! im very intrested in knowing all about my car as possible . im only 24 and i feel so dumbed out about my classic !

Yep..no problem. that sucks you have to run a converter. You should really like the turbo muffler, just enough sound for the v6's. I always atleast try to help.
