1985 Monte Carlo Build

Well guys i've been lurking on here for a little while now and i thought i might fill you all in on my buildup. Base was a 1985 mc factory 4.3 a.c. car. No motor or trans when i bought it for 400 bucks. Heres what i have so far and ill keep you posted the further i go. The irocs were put on once i got it.

Looking great 😀 loving the "two bar rocs" :wink: im curently fanning up some valve covers for my 87 ss that will have" monte carlo ss"script on them as well!!! Ill shoot you some pics of what im doing.if you like my application ill hook you up with an extra set of valve covers i have that will be used in this process.welcome to the site an if you need any parts i have a stockpile of them from a 84 i parted a while back.pm me with needs,and keep them "progress pics" comin 8)

Great looking project. is this going to be a cruiser or you have other plans for it?

I wish i knew. Originally i intended for it to be a DD project, but it all depends on how it feels with my current engine setup once i take it out for the first time. It will probably be just another toy to take out whenever.

i really kinda like the stance. it still has to settle at least another half inch up front

Put in new oil pressure, temp, and volt gauges. Ripped out the interior so i can weld up the holes in the roof. (also figured i would treat the floorboards for rust)
