That tailpipe almost looks like the stock geometry. It would be a shame if failed inspection. Are you sure that rule isn't just for side-exits in front of the rear wheels?

Pretty sure, I live in allegheny county pa, second most populated county in Pa next to phildelphia county, so emmisions laws are strict. Their reasoning is if the tailpipe does not protrude from under the body, the exhaust gases may get trapped under the car and work their way into the passenger compartment. A 8 or 9 inch tailpipe extension (chrome, preferably 😀 ) should take care of this issue though.

Yesterday I went out to Walmart and bought yet another battery, this will the 6th battery I've had in the car. I put up the money for a better battery this time, 700 CCA vs the old 526 CCA. I fired it up and despite being 40 degrees ferenheit, it ran great once it got warm. Since it had last been driven, the new sway bars were put on, the exhaust was put on, the valve cover gaskets were changed again (not sure if they still leaked, I ran the car for about 20 minutes, and I don't know if that is enough time to burn oil off of the heads where the oil is) and I put a new battery in it. I was pretty pleased with how well it ran. Paint should be coming soon! Also, someone put a hole in my back bumper! I took it to the grocery store a mile from my house, went inside for less than 5 minutes, came out and then bam! So I'm gonna need a new bumper in the not-so-distant future. :x

nows the perfect opportunity to get a fiberglass bumper!!!

Haha, if only I had the money :? I'm hoping to get lucky and find a half-decent steel one at a junk yard.

Got some more disassembly done today- Rear quarter windows were removed. The rust underneath was there, but not as bad as I expected. Door handles and lock cylinders were removed, trunk lock cylinder removed, trunk weatherstripping, taillights, headlights, bumpers, license plate and bracket, and some other small stuff all taken off. Up-to-date pictures-

I hate that black paste with a passion. lol

Progress has been slow, I've been working 30 hours a week and juggling school into that- I've been busy. I got the old hood off today. It was so wavy and rusty, I don't think I quite have the skill to salvage it. I am going to be swapping it for a GN hood, hopefully within the next week or two.

Thanks Darin! I got some money for Chistmas that I am dying to blow on a 'parts run' lmao. I am finally going to get my chrome headlight, taillight bezels and grille, a GN hood, and hopefully a set of Turbo Buick air dams.
