What is the correct radio for a 1987 442? Were there options or just one standard Delco radio that was used, green display or amber? Equalizer bar? Tape Deck? Mine was missing for the original car but luckily they did not cut the wiring harness when they put aftermarket radio in the car. If so does anyone have one for sale?

If memory serves me, the display color changed from amber to green in 1987. The face plate was also flat black instead of gloss. Many of the cars I see at shows have had stereo's from Buick Park Avenues swapped into them that have a gloss face plate with a chrome border. I have owned several 442's and all of them have had an EQ with cassette. It's hard to believe but the Delco AM radio was the standard option for the 442. You could also order the UL5 option (radio delete) if desired.

Yep, a guy that my sister graduated with the 87 cutlass that he bought new. It has the green face radio, where my 85 has the orange display. Should be easier to find a replacement for the green display.
