I just picked up an 87 LS and was wondering if they came with posi rear ends if they did how can I tell? Car is not running right now so I can't just start it up and start burnin rubber to find out if its posi or not lol haha if they didn't come with a posi rear what other car or truck posi rear ends can I swap directly into a g body?

Of course, that doesn't mean that someone didn't swap out the rear axle at one point.
V8 with overdrive transmission, think its a 700r4 shifter on the column not on the floor if that matters and where and what is the truck tag?
Look on the underside of the trunk lid for the sticker that SSNinja was talking about. Another easy way to check is to jack up the rear end until both back wheels are off of the ground. Put the car in neutral, spin one wheel. If the other one spins the same direction, chances are that it's posi.
