Just picked this Grand Prix up a couple weeks ago for 600 bucks, it didn't run but I got it fired up really quick and it starts like a brand new car. Has a 305 sitting in it with headers and dual exhaust with I think Flowmaster mufflers. This and everything seen in the pics were all on the car when I bought it. All it really needs is armrests, door handle for the inside driver's side and the rod that runs from the outside handle to the latch that opens the door. I'm deciding on whether or not to replace the vinyl top or make it a hardtop as well as a paint job, I'm liking the white but I'm not sure what color I want it to be yet.
Let me know what yall think and any suggestions you might have.

welcome to the forum..

600 bucks? i can never get a deal like that. good find and keep it safe. any hidden rust areas yet? how many miles on that bad boy? and for the vinyl top, im not a big fan of them. i plan on removing the one from my regal, but just be prepared for what you might find under there. maybe a big ugly crater of rust or myb nothing. be sure to check out some of the other users who have removed there tops also. any plans for the GP?

Yeah it was a friend of mine and he's had it since high school which was back in 99-02 and ive been trying to get it since then. I finally got it and for only 600, brought it home primed the carb a few times and it's been running perfect since, got it on the road today been driving it everywhere, rides like a Cadillac. Nothing is rusted under the car theres a little rust on the passenger side by the rear wheel but nothing major just surface. It has 107k on the car but the he rebuilt the engine and modded it some I'm not sure what he done to it yet I'll have to get with him on that but he added headers and duals as well and it sat for about 3 years while he drove his truck. He got tired of it being in his yard so he let it go. I'm really leaning towards repainting it white but still unsure about the top. I'm thinking of either keeping the Centerline rims on or grabbing some Cragar SS rims wrapped in some BFG white letters. I'd like to do as much as I can to help on gas mileage as well but I really don't know much about that area.

I found a couple pics of GP's sitting on Cragar SS rims and I think I would prefer them over the Centerlines. Tell me what yall think.
