Decided to take off the high mount r4 ac system and will be figuring out a way to the low mount stock ac without a frame notch.

Also installed the 3.5 aluminum driveshaft from a 2000 police crown vic and painted the chrome light bezels black to hold me until I'm ready to work on the paint and body.

no need for apppologizing!!! the pic looks GREAT 8) was the driveshaft a direct fit or did you have to shorten it?

Thank you!!!!
The driveshaft measured approximately 53-54" from center ujoint to center ujoint. I had to cut it down to about 50 1/2", balance, and use the proper ujoints to make work.
I believe it came out of a ford truck(maybe explorer).. I'm not 100% sure because it was laying on the ground at my local picknpull in the truck section and had a ford pinion flange on one end but was shorter than the f150 and crown vic driveshafts that were out there. It's 3.5" in diameter... Great, upgrade that cost me around $100....

I was wondering where you got your high mount A/C and/or if you have yours would you be willing to sell it for a good price?
