Your in Ohio. Find an 86-7 Rusted body Buick T or Gn & buy the whole car. Swap out the drive trane , rear & gas tank with the harness. This is the best way to do a conversion. Trust me i sell parts & it will cost a small fortune buying a piece here & there & trying to do a Turbo conversion.charlie00951 said:wants the difference in the base 3.8 na and the old late 70"s turbo carb motor? is it possible to turbo my motor?
This way you can also use the hood & get it PTM.
You can turbo that engine block but...... You need a turbo crank, Rods, drill a return line back into the block etc. Find a good running rusted donor.
We do it all the time, we buy rusty northern cars & rust free southern turbo rollers. We just did a NJ we-4 T-top car that was wrecked. $3,000.00 Then we found a small block chevy installed we-4 down here in a barn. Both had 71K miles on them.
$5,000. in cars & when we are done we will have a $12,000+ car.
We will part out the good interior peices & the small block chevy parts to help with the costs.
You already have the car you just need to find a good running rust bucket.
