You were probably already thinking this but if he is willing to work with you. DEFINITELY get a written contract so he can't sell it from under your nose to someone who may come along and offer more than he is asking.

That would suck really bad if you sold the Cutlass only to find out he conveniently changed his mind. :puke:

<Mike>

Yeah I was thinking the same thing.

Proceed with the buckets and console on your cutlass, drop in a SBO. And keep the olds. When I was your age I sold my 86 olds cutlass for a jeep wrangler...........been regretting that for 23 years, finally got myself back into a mint cutlass and I'm keeping this one.

I will give you that, the t type is an upgrade, but you cutlass is a looker. And unfortunately most of the t types, gns or monte ss I have seen are beat to death.

Its funny that this is said... I'm a person of faith when it comes to the old lady driven story. My Cutlass looked like a pile of shiza in the pictures posted on Kijiji I go to see it in person it was a marvel. I have the same faith in this car as due to the story as well as a well respected member of the turbo buick comunity driving the sale.

I'm going to take a look at it and hear it run as well as see it drive and inspect all the frame before I even put my Cutlass for sale.

What is a fair price for my Cutlass ??

Good luck

I would definatley keep the Cutlass that car is clean and I'd be willing to bet you will regret selling it. Also the T-Type being "lady driven" isnt neccesarily a good thing. Have you ever ridden with a lady??? :lol:

I would do as BWEAVY said and get some pics of the SPID label in the trunk. Check to make sure that is an original T type and not a NA Regal that someone put the driveline from a GN in. I don't understand why someone would put on GN wheels when the T wheels were aluminum. The Regal does look to be in decent shape but not as good as your Cutlass does.
I personally would stick with your Cutlass. The Regal will cost you more money when stuff breaks and it is harder to get parts north of the border.
Just my 2 cents worth. Good luck on your decision.

This car comes with the T type Rims its just being stored on the GN rims. How much ruffly would it coast to rebuild this cars motor and transmisson and by rebuild i basicly mean refresh for a peace of mind. and mabey a shift kit.

I'm willing to pay the 6500 for the car and mabey put at least 3000 into work and upgrades. I'm living at home right now and dont pay to many bills so my plan is to build my life long toy right now so my furutre wife cant b*tch haha.

I'd want to get scanmaster and get someone to tune the car properly and mabey add more boost and address the issues with adding boost. My goal for this car is about 11 second 1/4 mile. and I would also want to repaint the car down the road.
