I have an 86 2+2 nose I’m going to list but I have no clue what it’s worth. Trying to find any pricing for GP parts is proving to be a bear.

It's all about condition. It's such a low production car that anything specific has some value, but, you're most likely going to sell it to someone who hangs it on a regular gp so they are doubtful to spend big to get it, especially if the attached conversion pieces wind up missing.

For someone to buy it as a spare for their car they likely expect great condition, good grilles, etc etc etc.

Price appreciation on the cars themselves has lagged somewhat compared to other gbodies due to the... acquired taste.

The Lauren Engineering 2 + 2 nose conversion had a fiberglass nose, unlike their Monte SS nose conversion where they used a new factory urethane nose in that kit.

This is an original GM part?.....not Lauren Engineering?
Yes. There’s one on my car that has a few cracks in it and another that I got with my car. The silver one has no cracks but is a little distorted. Laying it over the other one it seems to flex out nicely. The one on the car, I should be able to repair.

This was at a swap meet two years ago. I can’t imagine anyone paid that but who knows.

The good news, there isn't much supply
The bad news, there isn't much demand

Restoring a 2+2 isn't popular because the ones that are nice and valuable don't need a restoration because they have always been special and garage kept
The ones that need restorations are near impossible to restore because almost all 2+2 parts are hard to source and they just get hoarded as parts cars.

If I had a nice driver that had someone back into in the parking lot and needed a nose I'd pay $500 without grills and $750 with grills.

It’s amazing how flimsy the nose is for these cars.
Every gbody (aside from the crash bar) was appearance-only forward of the rad support adding nothing in a crash, so, it didn't much matter. The rubberized noses were just as flimsy off a firebird or camaro as what came on the Monte ss/2+2, main difference being the 2+2 had less of it.

Took lots of braces and strips to help them keep shape. Also makes it tough to get one that is warped to lap proper again after. That's why so many firebird have that sunken area near the hood latch in the nose. Once it sags... tough cookies. The material was a lot sofer/more flexible than the newer stuff

I’ve decided I’m going to use the silver nose on this car. The blue one has a couple cracks that I can repair, but a few mounting tabs are ripped and i think it might be an issue.
When I pull the nose off I’ll see if I can get anything for the blue one.
