i used to own an 86 exactly like the blue and silver one. same paint scheme but it was an SJ, had buckets, console and the HO305/200R4. best running 305 i ever had

I saw the parts car listed on CL a week or two ago he was asking 500 bucks for it.

what's with the Crown Royal bag covering the shifter is what I want to know?

DAMN! if it was closer i would jump on the parts car but if able to i would get both!! The 86 looks like my POS  Literally! I would cruise one and rebuild the other BUT i can't seem to get the ball rolling on my 85 and i got rid of my 81......

That's about 75 miles from me. The '87 looks like a nice car.

I have an 86, same blue and silver colour, buckets and console. The engine seems peppy and runs like a dream. Did they ever come with the HO 305? I didn't think so.

He has been trying to sell them cars on both ebay and craigslist for over a month more like 3 months.

ya know, i cant find a damn thing on it right now but, i remember when i had that car back in high school (15+yrs ago) i did some checking in my auto mechanics class and the vin code showed that the car came with a higher output 5.0. had 9:1 compression and made like 180hp, not the standard 150hp or so. and i thought for sure that it was an SJ model but now im reading that the sj was dropped a few years before. maybe it was an LE? maybe im just getting old and my memory is fading.
