Came across some 20x8.5 wheels for a decent price and was wondering if they will fit my 86 cutty. They look like the torque thrust type. The guy said he bought them for his s10 blazer, but sold the blazer b4 putting them on. The size is 20x8.5, 5 on 4.75 lug pattern, and 5.25" backspace. Will these fit on my cutty with no probs with a 245-35-20 tire? Just wondering about the backspacing, I know people put factory s10 wheels on gbodys. Thanx for the help.

Your bolt pattern is correct the fronts should fit fine but generally you would wana stay under 5 on the backspacing. Do you know what the offset is? Worst case, you may need to run down to the parts store and pick up some spaces for the rear.

He posted the offset as 12P. I think that means +12.

Ok. Reason I'm askin is cause he is sellin 4 brand new Showwheel Streeters for $700 OBO. Think I can get him down to $500, but if they won't fit, I'll be stuck with them.

Funny because I'm going through the same thing with my wheels. I have a set that are 20x8.5" with a 5.5" backspacing. I'm going with 1.5" adapters in the rear and 1" adapter in the front.

I don't want to have to go thru the spacer/adapter thing. I have to do that with the front wheels on my Magnum and I just can't seem to get rid of the steering wheel wobble. Its just a little, but it bothers me, even with the hubcentric spacers.
