Im missing a cable shifter lever for my 2004r install. It attaches the cable to the transmission. Anybody know where to find them or how they can be made? Thanks!

Bill

Worse comes to worse, try Summit or Jeg's for an aftermarket bracket and lever.

Bill,
I'm thinking it should work. I assume you're using an OEM type floor shifter. I have an aftermarket shifter in my car, so I can't be positive. I think the parts should be similar...in function at least.

Can someone out there help shed some light on this topic?

www.dixiemontecarlo.com has them both of the 2004r and the TH350. They ARE different. This is the one that bolts from the bottom of the trans pan and the cable clips into, with the u shaped pin correct?

Yeah, I know that the shifter bracket and lever are different between a TH350 and 200-4R. I'm currently using a shifter for a 200-4R connected to my TH350, and a bracket and lever for a TH350.
In anticipation of installing a 200-4R.

I have the cable bracket on the cable....but I need the part that the end of the cable attaches to.

Oh alright the shift select lever. Dixie sells those also, but they want $100 for one  . You should be able to find them at the junkyard to save that cash from any 2004r floor shifted car.
