i also have a montie rear thats pos dont know what gears no tag came out of a 86? the turbo 350 i had in the car first i would be doing 65 at 2000 rpm and not a lot off punch after that. my old man has a 6 speed out of a 95 ss camero does any body make a bellhouseing or adapter plate for my rocket

I've been looking for new wheels lately now that you mention it. Got any pics?

If it is an 86' monte rear end, it will have the 3.73 gears and most like an auburn posi chuck. How do I know? My rear end is out of an 86' monte carlo ss :lol: I had to have it rebuilt soon after I put it in because it had chipped a pinion tooth but luckily nothing got into the chuck itself.

Eh if I'm gonna do a tire and rim swap I'm gonna need all 4 tires. I don't like mix matching sizes front and rear. Sorry bud but thanks for the offer though.

all the tires are the same size the rimes are 17x9s and the tires are firestones i think. the extra tires are kumos (smoke gr8) all i know is they would look killer on the malibu.that was my first car a 81 put a 305 tuneport in it then 3 mo later i met a grandpaw talkin on his cellphone he ran the light by by malibu just painted it 2 weeks before

I meant to say do you have all 4 wheels or do you just have 2 wheels? I'm not worried about tires I can buy those lol. Can 17x9 fit on a malibu? Where are you located?
