Hi guys, so I dropped my aftermarket trans 200r4 stage 2 from bowtie over drive and when I got it out I was looking it over. and I noticed that the output shaft that goes into the drive shaft has a wobble to it, I installed this trans in my cutty back in 2003 but it has been sitting since 2005 trans worked perfectly but the motor quit, so I cant really recall if was like this on the install, would like to know before I put in my lemans wagon. I know when it shipped to me back in the day they had put in a plastic piece to simulate the drive shaft for shipping and I had to remove it prior to install hopefully the wobble is supposed to there and the plastic piece was there so it wasn't banging around during shipping.

thanks,
wade

Not 100% sure if that's normal, but the cap that was on was to prevent damage to splines and dirt from getting in. I believe there should be some play in the shaft, kind of like endplay on the input shaft, I would assume just from wear n tear.
