So I just bought a rebuilt 200R4 for my Regal and it has a yellow drive gear for the speedometer and I can't find any information on the tooth count for this gear.
As stated this is the drive gear in the governor not the driven gear and it looks like this but yellow.

Factory colors are:
Green - 10 Teeth
Orange - 11 Teeth
Red - 12 Teeth
White - 13 Teeth

I don't think there was a factory yellow one so gonna guess that your yellow gear is aftermarket.
You need to count the teeth on it.

I searched and couldn't find any info at all on a yellow gear, I will probably have to change it out to get the right ratio just waiting to see what I receive from the trans place since the driven gear and housing were damaged in transit since they were taped in a plastic bag inside my convertor box.

The curious question...does yours really truly look yellow??? I have what I believe to be a orange drive gear but it looks like the 1st attached...

The 17 and 19 tooth gears on that scan is for 700R4 drive gears (Same as a TH350 gear.)

That first yellow one is the "White" which is really just natural nylon not white and can be somewhat different colors and gets dark with age.

Just count the teeth when you get your new gear.

It looks yellow to me unless it used to be white?

That's natural nylon what GM called "white"
That's good news then since they sent me a blue driven gear that would give me the 13/30 which is real close to what I need for my 3.25 gear and 28" tall tires, Thanks again.
