Sometimes when I can't get out & work on my stuff, I get bored & draw. This is my latest el camino concept drawing. Started out based on a 2 door impala drawing, then I ended up changing most of the shapes. Considering one day doing the rear visor & swoopy rear side shape to my Camaro nose el camino project.

It basically exists over at Holden, but a camaro with an 8 foot bed would be sweet.

Nice drawing! I have drawn hundreds of cars in that exact 2D style, Nothing compared to how well you can detail a simple drawing like that.

Thanks. If I drew something more than a few times a year, I might actually get good at it.
This was just another exercise at something of an el camino the factory could actually build.
This is my 83 with deleted quarter window, which I'm thinking of applying the rear visor & bedcover shape to.

Your El Camino is one of a kind

Wonder how the Mustang Ranchero would look like updated?

Stuck inside the house for a while after just having hernia surgery, so I drew a picture for a guy in australia putting an Audi v-8 bi-turbo drivetrain under a 1950 ford truck body. Just posting this because I actually have time to be bored right now. If it looks crappy, I blame it on a lack of sleep, pain, & pain pills that don't seem to work.

Ah yes. The Holden Maloo with a G8 front clip. Too bad that got away from us. I wanted one of the sport wagons, but did not care for the Cadillac styling or price tag.
