Buick 350 shares the 3.8 bore with the 231 and 181, but the 231 has a 3.4" stroke, and the 350 has a 3.85" stroke.

Maybe just get the whole stroker kit to get the most out of that 231

lol Yup too much on the brain when people keep referring to 3/4 of a V8…anyhoo I’d still consult with the machinist and make sure the pin height is adequate for what we’re trying to achieve.

If I recall correctly, there are some flat tops that will technically work, and will raise your compression, but the flat tops mess with the flow characteristics of the heads in a not-so-good way.
