231 V6 Fuel Filter Location

Where can I find the fuel filter on my '85 Regal? (N/A 231 V6) thanks !

It's inside the front of the carb. Loosen the fuel line at the carb then the next piece will unscrew that holds the filter. Be carefull not to loose the spring inside that piece.

I always found it best to spray some PB Blaster or some kind of lube (WD40, Marvel Mystery Oil,etc) on those threads before you start. Let it sit for a couple of minutes.
I always had problems with the line wanting to bend, if I didn't soak it..


I broke a line once......don't wanna do it again!
