235 50 15's on front of 81 Malibu Classic

I'm at stock height and and I'm thinking of these for the front. The wheels have very little offset (centered) on 15 x 8 rims

Any one tried?

Thanks

Should work, you may have a touch of rub at full lock. I’ve run a similar setup before without issues but it was close.

I ran 235/60R15 on the front of my 86' Regal with an 8" rim with no issues IMO a 235/50 is too short at 24.3" and does nothing to fill up the big wheel wells on a GBody.
I also ran 275/60 on the rear with 15 x 8 rims

Ran 235/60-15s (front) on my 80 Malibu on 8" C3 Corvette alloys, was OK. The 50s being shorter should be fine. Unlike the MC and the Pontiacs and Buicks, the malibu fenderwell is more square shaped overall...the clearance issue is usually at the front bottom of the fenderwell.

Only pic remaining after some hard drive failures

235/60R15 all the way around on stock ride height on 78 Corvette rims. No rubbing issues at all. 50’s will have more of a gap.
