I will look into that Cooper tire!

They also have a Kumho tire which I have had great luck with as a brand in the past.
 
Ive gone with 255/50/16 BFG and am very happy with how they fit and look for proportion.
 
If you haven't already bought 16", and they make what you want in 17", I'd go with 17". Just an opinion.
 
I put a pair of Kumhos on the front of the wagon a week before the trans gave up. They replaced Falkens,, which IMO, were junk....2 of the 4 developed really bad shimmy (broken belts, I think) with 60% tread remaining...and were only a couple years old.

I ran Kumhos on a couple previous wagons with good results. All in 245/50-16
 
For my Regal I was going to buy 16 x 8 GNX style wheels but found the selection very limited especially since I wanted taller than a 50 series so I ended up going to 17" but did also consider 18" that have even more selection.
