Yes, we know how to build a G Body, lol. This is a post for you guys and creating content. These forums are fading away slowly and no one is even noticing. We are trying to help GP403 and the G Body community keep this one alive.
Call the shop to place your order and mention this forum.

In my opinion this forum has plenty of new daily content and isn’t dying. It’s unlikely I’ll respond to your posts in the future knowing we’re not actually helping someone.

I did it years ago on a 1986 Monte Carlo. Bassett Stock Car Wheels 15"x8" 275/60/15 BFG TA's all around.
The car had 2" drop spindles, no inner fenders. They'd rub on the frame if you turned too sharp.
The car looked very cool!

I was a member on the 'MR' forum (from 10+ yrs ago) before finding this one. I post & check-in here daily now just like I do my 2 other automotive favorites (67-72ChevyTrucks.com & Lat-g.net).

There are definitely people moving away from forums to social media. I'll miss their content but have zero interest in doing the same. Social media (IG for me) does not offer the build content, info, or Q&A exchange that the forums have.

I agree. I'm on FB, it sure has taken a huge amount of traffic from the forums but this one isn't one that seems too effected. I'm a moderator on montecarloss.com and still frequent that board although it's slowed down quite a bit, this one seems to almost be doing better than it was years ago, at least from how I remember it. Don't think it needs posts just to prop up interest, it feels pretty healthy here with activity.

I must be a weirdo because to me a 275 isn't that big of a tire. I know it's important to remember that, in the 80s, 275s were a big deal to have on the front if that was even a thing then. But for the weight they should be considered the minimum for spirited driving, dartiness notwithstanding. My C5Z jerks me around the road pretty good sometimes but I live with it because of the way the car corners with 295s up front. If I was loaded, I'd go widebody and go with 3XX all around. They're dead weight in a straight line, so if drag is your thing I get it.

It isn't that big for a C5/6/7 Vette but is for the G-body platform/chassis. I think it really boils down to what is the 'average' use/intent of the vehicle? 275's would likely be over-kill for many g-body driver builds. They're def a good start for auto-x & as mentioned for straight-line performance.... they'd be dead weight.
