86/87 Turbo buick's are tribal knowledge as it is and 84/85 are like that weird uncle of the tribal world. In Turbo Buick world, you don't just buy parts, you adopt them. You have to prove to the seller the parts are going to a good home; you don't own them, you are their caretaker.

Turbobuick.com crashed around 2000 or 2001 and all of the previous posts from the 90's were lost. The abuse the Hot Air guys took was legendary. For every helpful post there were 10 former hot air owners telling the guy to "sell it and buy an '86/'87" 100% from personal experience dealing with the same problem.

Every post was a pile on. My '86 T-type was $5K and 25K mile GN's were $10K back then (there were hundreds of zero mile '87's selling for sticker), so "investing" $thousands in a hot air made zero sense.
