Pm my brother in law on here his name is griff442 he had the same problem and he chased it for weeks. He will be able to help you

I tried to get on turbobuick but I couldn't find or answer the security question coolant temp reads fine

You seem to have a weird combination of parts. My research says that the chip is actually an '84 hot air turbo chip. (1985 would be CMM1865.) Your car is still a hot air I gather but you say that an '87 ECM and harness was installed? Why? Is it running the '87 ignition module?

The injectors are odd as well. Seems the original application is a later model Cadillac CTS with the normally aspirated 2.8 liter V6. If they truly are 20.57#/hr., which makes sense based on application, they are much too small for the larger displacement, turbocharged Buick. Factory Buick injectors are on the order of 28 #/hr. How did those injectors wind up in the Buick?

You say it's running really rich but none of your data supports that. Your .5V O2 reading provided is lean, you mentioned getting a lean error code and no rich error codes.

I'd suggest you read over this article so you can figure out what all has been swapped from the hot air set up to the '86/'87: http://www.gnttype.org/techarea/ecmsensors/8487ecm.html

Note the mention of integrating the ATS and swapping to the later MAF as well. Do your ECM and cal-pak numbers match the article?

The lean error code was set with an o2 reading of .015 or might have been .0015 ecm and cal pak don't match so only certain items work from the 87 to the swapped in ecm do you know what cars came with 28# injectors stock I'll go to the junk yard and pick up 8 and a new pump and can do some more testing but I think you are right that it is running lean the ecm is different from stock but I couldn't find any numbers for the 87 ecm so I just figured it was scince the maf and tps fit and worked but i dont know what ecm it has off the top of my head

Doubt the scrap yard will be much help on the injectors. According to the usage data on AutoZone.com, they were only used in the following:

1984-1987 Regal Turbo
1984-1985 Riviera Turbo
1989 Turbo Trans Am

RockAuto.com lists a bunch of choices for the correct size injectors. Besides, getting new or re-manufactured parts better ensures that they are functioning and flowing properly.

I'd love to put new injectors in it but I don't have enough money to pay for new so I'm gonna find some slightly larger ones the the computer can compensate for because these that ate in it are way too small plus these cars like fuel haha plus I don't plan on leaving it stock for very long but money overcomes wishes and I can barley afford to put a new pump in it so that's why I'm gonna find some in a yard and hopefully that will fix most of the running problems

I suggest that you try again to sign up for turbobuick.com and place a Wanted ad for a set of stock injectors. Seeing as almost every TR has upgraded injectors, there's probably hundreds of them out there sitting around people's garages that could be had cheap.
