I was surfing ebay as I do on a daily basis and came across this. I read his feedback and it seems to be pretty good. Let me know if you think I should give it a try because I am thinking about it. I currently have a 305 and I will upgrade but I want to do something with the 305 because I know nobody will buy it. I think this would be a real nice sleeper when you tell them its a 305

Id make sure they have some kind of descent return policy, and that they have paypal.

yea they got paypal and they offer a warranty if it is installed professional but i go to school for automotive technician so you know what that mean

if i had a dollar for everytime i said my 350 was a 305 hahaha.
I thought about the twin turbo kit, you probably would wana be TPI for that set up.

if you're gonna go with turbos definately rebuild the entire engine to take the abuse and run a good multi-port efi. this way you'll have sick power and reliability. i think the hardest part will be finding proper heads, but it'll be absolutely sick when done.

what type of heads do i need to be running for that specific twin turbo setup? I was going to get some rebuilt 350 vortec heads. Thanks

the 305 has a smaller bore than a 350, (3.74 vs 4.00) restricting the valve size. if 350 vortec heads/valves will fit into the bore they may be shrouded.
i would definately talk to some different head companies and see what they recommend. cam selection is another hard one with forced induction.

I know of a guy that had a single turbo 305 and it ran 9's in the 1/4. There was nothing stock in this motor though. This was a while back and I only remember it because I was surprised that somebody finally did something with a 305.

my 305 is coming out next week and it only has 60k miles on it. i have a 62 nova that would be a killer candidate to the "305 TT". hey... that sounds kinda cool. looks like a pretty nice price depending on how much more youll have to do. i'd like to know what your decision is and how it progresses (if it goes along w/what we'd all wanna see). haha...
