i am rebuilding an olds 307 for my cutlass and my gasket kit came with two different water pump gaskets, and the new water pump came with another that is different from both of the gaskets that came with the kit. Which should i use? all three are paper. below is a pickture of the two that came with the kit, the third is basically a combination of the first two.

Use whichever one most closely matches your waterpump. More than likely the one that came with the pump.

Just hold it up to the backside of the pump and compare.

I'm going to guess that the one that came with the pump is the one that matches the best. It's cheaper for gasket companies to simply include all the possible gaskets than to warehouse different part number gasket sets. I had this same issue with the timing chain gasket set that I got for my 307 recently. Note that this gasket set covers just about every Olds V8. There were three different pump gaskets, but only one fit the pump that I had. Not hard to pick the right one.
