Is your carburetor still original to the car? Does it have electrical connections on it? If so, you need to change the carb too to something pre-CCC. The CCC carbs will NOT work without a computer. There's also a feedback circuit for the TPS on the computer carbs, but even unplugged it doesn't affect carb performance. But that blue plug on top is the brains of the outfit and without the computer communicating with that mixture control solenoid, the car will run like dog crap.
