350 chevy wont align in 87 cutlass

Hello Everyone,


Im performing an engine swap in a 87 442, with a 350 sbc. i have the monte carlo frame and engine mounts , but im unable to align the bolt holes for the frame to engine mount . The Engine is tilted back, any ideas what might be wrong? I have tried to tilt the engine forward, and it wont align with the bolt holes. Do i need to just use a pry bar and try to move the rubber up in the frame mount...

Only 3 out 4 holes on frame mount will line up. Third pic on this page shows frame mounts on the frame

I managed to move the engine over, via a pry bar in the engine mount. It was ever so slightly off, which was causing issues with the transmission.
