350 mount question?

iv got a 1985 monte carlo with a 4.3 tbi im getting ready to put a vortec crate 350 in it on the frame mounts i know there is diff mounts your sposed to use but i was wondering if i could i just use the 4.3 mounts and just drill new holes to bolt the 350 in or are the mounts too far off to do that?

The 4.3 mounts are not compatible with a 350, V8 mounts are cheap, and you can get the brackets that attach to the engine at any bone yard. All the holes are already in the cross member. Hope that helps and hope to see your finished project here soon.

i got mine for 11.99 at advance autoparts...and i even got one at no charge.

the rubber mounts are available at autozove (or the upgrade poly's) what you need are the clamshells. you HAVE to get V8 mounts from a g-body (an f-body might work)
