i have a 84 calais that the owner before me put in a olds 350 rocket but it threw a piston, if anybody has any web locations they can give me so that i can find another 350 rocket i would love it.....

it may be easier to just rebuild the bottom end. it depends on exactly what happened. as long as there aren't gouges in the cylinder walls you're ok.

Depending on where you live, you may be able to find one in a 70's Olds in the junkyard. The Olds 403 would also bolt in to the same mounts, etc as the 350, so consider that too. Also, try Craigslist.com and look for parts or a whole rusty-but-running parts car you can take the engine from.

I just bought a 1975 olds rocket 350 motor and transmission off ebay for $365. Look around, I have seen quite a few on there in the last couple of months. Alot of people by olds cutlass's for race cars and prefer chevy motors. the only down fall is that most people do not ship motors.

I saw one on my local Craigslist for $100.
