I think if you ran that short of a belt the tensinor would hit the waterpump pully.
Oh I didnt think of that :x Someone in another thread had the same "attachment quota" problem as you.

88 and up s10 4.3 or v8 throttle body engines work perfectly. Use all accessories and pulleys and it will work fine.Last time I helped a friend we went to someones house from Craigslist and got everything for 40 bucks off an ac delete s-10 4.3.

would f body system work better than 4.3L system? i have a 99' chevy 4.3 in garage now

honestly i would rather run the setup from the truck rather than the f-body. i converted my big block to use the 4.3 setup from the s-10 pickup

Anybody have any info on the late 90s chevy truck setups? I'm about to buy a complete set. I don't mean to hijack the thread but is there anyway to just use the pulleys you need (PS, and Alt) and get a smaller belt or do you HAVE to get the AC delete stuff?

The only way I have seen it is with the ac delete pulley in place of the compressor.
I have seen them with and without the AIR pump that is just a shorter belt fix.
They do however make a idler pulley that take the place of the air pump.
Ok thanks for the info. I wonder if I could measure the stock belt and see if I can get a shorter one for the ac delete instead of using the delete pulley.

I have a 91 silverado motor in my camino and you need the delete pulley cause there is no way to route it. The 90-95 trucks have the nice slum bracket setups
