is there any way to turn a 350 olds to a 383?

Not in the manner your thinking.

All Olds small blocks had the same crank stroke so you can't swap one for another to gain anythink like you do with the Chevy.

However you can have a custom crank made with a different stroke.

There's also been talk of Eagle possibly making stroker cranks for the SBO.

Your other option is to offset grind the crank and use a Honda rod.

There's nothing magic about the 383 cu in displacement. It's a popular build for small block Chevy motors because it's easy to drop a 400 crank into a 350 block to get 383. As noted, all small block Olds motors use the same stroke. The easiest and cheapest way to increase the displacement on your 350 is to replace it with a 403 or 455 Olds.

Stroking an Olds 350 is a good idea. The pre 77 350 has very thick walls and a strong bottom end. Much better than the 403 and supposedly better than the 455. You just need sbc 400 pistons, either sbc small jounal or honda journal rods, which are available in sbc pin size. I know M@J performance and J@S Machine both offer 330 forged cranks all ready to go in the sbc rod journal for around the $450 range. Personally I am building my 403 with the KB hyper or Arias/Diamond forged pistons, the soon to be out RR Olds small block H beam rods, a Halo or Billet main caps, mild Edelbrock heads(no other real street choice) and a custom cam. If I junk my truck, then I would build the 350 into a stroker with the above mentioned parts

yeah well bein a high school kid without a job i just wanna get on the path to building a respectable everyday driver with enough juice to beat this kid with a civic at school. i figure i get the 350 olds run it with an intake and headers now with a posi rear it should be a decent street machine till i get in the USAF and earn a real mans pay.

Take it from another kid in hs, build it to enjoy it yourself. It won't take much to outrun the hondas.
Do you already have a 350? If not look for ANY 330, 350, 403, 425, or 455. Those are all good motors that come up from time to time fairly cheap. Do a stock type rebuild if necessary (sometimes better to get a running motor), mill the heads to bump the compression, and give it a good cam. Intake and headers are only really helpful once the motor has a need to breath deeper.
I'm building a 403 to match the "texastransams" build. Hoping for high 13's in the 1/4 (their build ran faster in a heavier car) when I'm done and the entire motor won't cost more than $1000. (Actually if nothing else pops up, I'll be in for less than $500). Then I plan on getting a better rear ratio from 3.08-3.73 and a good rebuilt trans won't cost more than $500 from a local shop, or I might even try that job myself.
It can be done, and there is no need to touch the bottom end except for a rebuild if it NEEDS one.
