4.1 liter in 84 regal

I bought me a 84 regal today. I noticed it has a 4.1 liter motor in it. Can anyone tell me if this is what would of came equipped in this year model or would it been a 3.8 liter. Sorry newbee here.

4.1 did come in 84..i have one also off my 83.. if your swapping it. Turbo guys are interested in them for an upgrade..

4.1s were available in '84. iirc they have the Turbo 3.8 bottom end, factory 4 barrel. Turbo it. 😀

Ty. Need to do some work to interior. Its been setting up in a field. Floor boards are rusting thru in some areas but for 1000 bucks running I can't complain to much

Nothing a welder can't fix.. Just get at it quick before it gets worse. If you need anything for the 4.1 I got some extra parts
