what you guys think, is it do-able? one of my buddy is gonna do it and he want to know everything you guys know about this...is it a good idea? anything we should be thinking about? like tips and tricks? parts we may need (example: motor mounts, ect..)??

Thanks guys, i need all the info you guys have to offer

There are a couple posts here, search using "swap".

You will need engine mounts from a 301 out of a Gbody.

Do not use TA mounts, they raise the engine too much.

Right now you are limited to stock logs,Ram Air manifolds or custom headers.

3 tube headers are reported to work with some tweaking,I never did it so can't say for sure.

It has been done before with great results.

I have a destroked 625 horse 455 in my GP race car.

What are your/his goals for the car?

Sunday driver that runs 8s, no problem.

He does have a tall wallet ,right?

Sell the 455, pick up a 600 cu in IA block combo from Spotts Performance.
Have Paul stick a nice plate on it.

Scare ladies in the church parking lot on Sundays, turn the giggle juice on Friday/Saturday nights.
