5.3 lsx swap help

i am currently installing a 5.3 into a 87 monte carlo SS i have the car running the issue i am having is that when i step on the accelerator of open the tb the car dies out i think its and fuel issue what size fuel pump should i be using

First, you're going to have to check fuel pressure at the rail to make sure that's not the issue. Second, have you done any modifications or is it a mostly stock engine? MAF installed? Exhaust all hooked up? Last thing would be a TPS issue unless it's tuning related.
