thanks and that must have been a great drive.....I can't remember last time I saw a Dodge Monaco a convertible at that.....beautiful cars... :)

It sure was a great drive. The Mountain Passages were quite stressful sometimes, especially downhill. Uphill the Engines started cooking and downhill the brakes did the same, no mercy 😄
And yeah, the Monaco is a beauty, biggest in the bunch. He Actually broke a Engine Mount on the second day. Lucky enough there was a US-car garage on the way who fixed it.

Wow, that's a nice bunch of cars, did all the owners have to travel far to get together?

Beautiful scenery as well, I'd love to live in a little mountain community on a lake like that.

Thank you! Actually we all live very close together (most in the same Town). The best group i've ever been a part of.
It was my idea to go on a bigger Road Trip this time, took us only about 4-5 Weeks to get everything together.
I planned the route and booked all the Hotels. Next time we'll do a Road Trip we're going to France. (no more Mountains for now  )

We're in a pretty awesome Location in Germany from where you can reach almost every surrounding Country in just 2 hours drive.
France, Switzerland, Austria, Poland even Italy.

very, very, very cool, love it when people use their cars for stuff like this....

We are always doing stuff like this, might not alway be 600miles + more like 200mile day trips, but we drive the hell out of our cars.
Me and the Trans-Am Guy build this group. We were part of a other huge group but all those guys did was talk big but you'd never see them drive their cars.
So we opend up our own Group and been the same constellation ever since. We always drive to car shows, hang out there for a bit and eat something and than we're right back on the road.
I love to have Friends like this with the same passion, priceless!

Glad all of you enjoyed the pictures.

How cool is that....seeing (foreign) American cars cruising the motorways of Austria? What beautiful scenery. I'm sure you guys got a lot of looks from the other motorists. Thanks for sharing the pics...(y)

Yeah, people love seeing us cruise by. Especially since we are such a big group. Every break we took people came to take pictues and look at the cars.
Its something you get used to around here really quick .. "how much gas does it need" .. "must be pretty expensive to maintain" ..
I guess most looks i've got this time was because of the f'n Header/Manifold Screw that decided to go their own way and leave in the middle of the road trip :blam:😅

You could publish a book. At the very least a magazine spread. I'm speechless.

OP, is there a reason you blanked out the licence plates in your photos? Can't imagine car theft over there is a major problem with these types of vehicles?

Thank you 😄

if at least i would've been consistent with it 😅 Its only the Guy with the Torino who doesnt want hist Plates published on FB or in the internet at all.
Those last 2 pictures with the blanked out LP are older, thats why they are different. And yes, theft over here is a problem. They snatch your car in a minute,
put it in a trailer and off they are to Russia or any other former soviet country before you even know it.

Edit: Ok, its mostly german oldtimers or BMW's n stuff that gets stolen. If we talk US-Cars its mostly old Mustangs that get stolen.

I like how those other cars pulled off the road out of respect. I really like that black and white photo, don't see enough of them these days and it's fitting for a 1969 Dodge... :)
