6L80e Transmission

Does anyone no if the 6L80e transmission will fit into a G-body. would it have similar dimensios to the 4l80? What kind of mods would i have to make to my floor pan?

I also hear there is a LS3 going into a 2 + 2, does anyone have the link, i too want to put a LS3 in my car.
