7.5 rear with 3.08 and posi

Found an elky at the scrap yard with this posi rear in it. Would it be worth grabbing? If so should I get the whole rear or just the guts?

I'd take the whole thing. just cut the arms a cables and take it home.

I'd grab the whole rear. 3:08's are nice highway gears, yet give good acceleration too. It's just easier to swap a whole rear and you should never disturb a ring/pinion unless you absolutely have to.

Yeah I got thinking about that think I would take the lot instead just makes things easier.
