750 HP Olds!

Yes, another sad story in the Olds world. Brad, the owner of Wise has been less than honest, screwed a few. Mark tried helping Brad when his motor was in the EMC, blew a head gasket, did not finish. Cutlassefi, Mark Remmel builds Olds motors and is an EFI tech, he posted this for his friend, the owner on Real Olds Power. Mark's Cutlass Convertible runs an Olds 350 with sequential EFI. These heads have potential but due to shady dealings, will be very limited numbers produced. A set of Procomp or Edelbrock heads are good for most. Next would be Rocket Racing heads or BTR's pushrod relocated Edelbrock's. Then there is the King, the old Batten heads. Bulldog heads were just a big ripoff. The Wise heads have proven themselves but are basically unobtainium. Milan, well known in the Olds circle is doing a build as we speak with Rocket Racing's prototype heads that flows 380 cfm. He knows his stuff, should make big power. If there is enough interest those heads, those would be actually be possible to get.

Thank you for background information! And from what I read at the RealOldsPower forum....wow.... Brad does not have a very good name for himself on that forum. That is really too bad.

If that engine produced 750HP on a 850cfm carb...I can only imagine what it would do with a Dominator setup, or the EFI it was meant to have!

There's a remark that there's about $6K into the motor...very respectable.

Olds cylinder heads ever since the Bulldog rip off, has been ugly. Then FCR, almost forgot about Mr.Olds aka Terry Fritch. He bought the Bulldog heads then ripped off people out of thousands of dollars, just like Bulldog.

I thought I'd hit a hornets nest with a stick, remember jmo. Batten heads were great flowing but very pricey being that one needed special intake and headers. I'd thought about getting a set 25 years ago but I was to cheap. One has to sell enough heads to make a profit and the volume of demand isn't there in Oldsmobiles. ProComps and Edelbrock are reasonable but not great flowing. I give guys credit for trying to make a great flowing Oldsmobile heads but it's an uphill battle.
