78-80 and 81-88 frame compatibility?

I have a 78 MC with a 305 and was wondering If I can use a frame off a 81-88 305 MC?

Cool,Thanks. Basically I want to get a newer frame and modify/powder coat it and still be able to drive the car while Im doing that. Figured it would be easier to find a spare frame in good condition off a newer MC.
