78 elco wheels size and backspacing

I'm doing the rear frame notch and 12 bolt A body diff swap and was wondering if anyone else has done both and can recommend a rear wheel and tire size that clears everything well.

I notched mine but used a Quick 9" rear set up. No two are exactly he same and no two notches are exactly the same either. The only safe way is measure them when your done. A safe starting place is 5.5 inches if you notched to the seam.
