gotta love those 3rd gens. My first car was a 79 monte 2nd was an 80 monte and 3rd was suprise suprise another 80 monte. Have parts from all 3 to combine, upgrading mine while taking down the competition 😀. As far as the motor goes, chevy orange is the only color IMO. 350hp will be more than enough, im also considering stick in mine and feel your pain on the weather.

my brother had a 84 2 tone green with green int. we lived and almost died in that car. t-tops. man ....so much booty :wink:

i think i might end up going with black for now because i cant come up with a paint scheme that compliments the 78 lines.

funny u said that. My lady and i are both september babies and i was thinkn bout a sapphire type of dark blue
and by the way that is a nice lookn monte and the heartbeat is just fine. :wink:
